On our way into Tambo Macha, I knew already the Gods were present from the amazing cloud formation they drew me further. The divine always reveals itself to me through clouds. I felt so deeply privileged to be walking on sacred grounds.
This image shows the masculine and feminine waters of Tambo Macha where the ancient Royal Incas used to go to balance their energies and become re-energized. Would that humanity today would see the wisdom of balancing these two energies so that we could live in a more harmonious relationship with the earth and each other.
This is a photograph of the Incan Shaman/Priest who accompanied us to this scared site and later performed a ceremony with us. The Q'Ero people live high in the mountains of the Andes and often have to walk for days to come into Cusco to perform these traditional blessings. They are so full of love and joy. Not once did I see this Elder without a radiant smile on his face. I couldn't help but think I want what he has.
This was the view from the hills overlooking the sacred fountain. More sacred waters can be seen snaking along the hillside.
As we were leaving Tambo Macho, I felt the spirits bid us farewell.
The care with which the priest laid out his offering brought tears to my eyes. His actions were motivated by pure love for mother earth and watching him prepare the offering was like watching divine performance art.
This was the site of the sacred blessing. It was so beautiful and peaceful and during my meditation here I experienced a profound kundalini awakening.
